Engagement Methodologies

Projects are undertaken to solve a specific problem or to meet identified opportunities. Every project has a definite, tangible objective or series of objectives. it has a beginning, an end, and should accomplish established goals within cost, schedule and quality requirements.

We utilize structured methodologies for two reasons. First, we want to ensure adequate time for data collection. It is much easier and less expensive to affect a project change at the beginning of a project than it is at the middle or the end. Second, methodologies allow us to manage projects so that they are completed on time and within budget.

The following text briefly describes the engagement methodologies Avery Partners' uses to deliver consistently successful projects.

PRIDE (Projects in a Dynamic Environment)

Recognizing the complexities and quality issues involved with successfully implementing a project, Avery partners employs PRIDE (Projects In a Dynamic Environment), a program management methodology that has been proven in the successful implementation of projects like Order Desk, Production Server Operations Support and CSR Support throughout the United States. Inherent in the PRIDE methodology are on-going management processes that assure structure, formality, client management involvement and commitment, all of which are paramount through the life of a project.

PRIDE requires that all tasks and actions identified as part of the implementation project be treated as tangible products, each with corresponding product descriptions attached. It is important to define precisely and unambigously each product that will be delivered, as well as the standards and measurement criteria by which they will be assessed. The quality of the project is then inherent in an on-going process whereby each product is reviewed against the corresponding description, effectively asking the question 'Does what we have produced match what we have said will be produced?'
